Capital flows in funds in digital currency for the second consecutive week; Big investors are buyers right now

While the bitcoin market had one of its worst launches in 2022, investors were investing new money in digital currency financial products for the second week in a row. Most of this data comes from special bitcoin funds, and some of the market-leading cryptocurrencies are still facing capital flight.

According to information published by CoinShares, special funds to invest in digital currencies had revenues of $ 19 million for the seven days ending January 28.

Although the increase seems small compared to a few weeks in 2021, when more than $ 200 million in inflows were reported, the trend shows that investors “in this decline” are wary of the value of opportunities, according to analysts Queen Shears . They add their own transactions.

Investors have invested about $ 14 million in digital currency funds in the past week. Earlier, the capital flow was negative for five consecutive weeks and a total of $ 532 million was withdrawn from these funds.

Bitcoin has fallen 17 percent since early 2022 and is currently hovering around $ 38,500. Clearly, the price is still far from the historic high of $ 69,000 reached in November 2021.

It should be noted that last week, while Atrium’s special funds faced a capital outflow of $ 26.8 million, about $ 22.1 million was added to Bitcoin’s special funds.

Atrium prices have fallen 27 percent to about $ 2,700 since early 2022. “Atrium continues to be plagued by negative market sentiment,” analysts said Queen Shears.

Funds investing in several different tokens have revenues of $ 32 million, the highest amount recorded since June 2021. This shows that “investors have taken a diverse investment approach.”

Digital currency funds Polkadat, Solana and Cardano also saw capital outflows this week. This shows that “investors are avoiding coins at this time.”
