Check the technical specifications of Intel’s new mining chips

Intel has just released the technical specifications of its latest mining chip. The processing power of this chip is 580 GHz and there is a possibility for internal measurement of temperature and voltage.

According to TheBlock, Intel, one of the largest companies in the field of computer processors, on Monday, April 4 (April 15), revealed the technical specifications of its new chip, called Blockscale. According to Intel, the energy efficiency of this new chip, which is specially designed for digging bitcoins, is higher than the previous models of this company and its launch will begin in the third quarter of 2022.

The new chip has a special processor designed specifically for the “SHA-256” retrieval algorithm (bitcoin retrieval algorithm). The hash rate and energy efficiency of the chip can be increased to 580 GHz and 26 joules per second, respectively. In addition, Intel’s new product has the ability to measure temperature and voltage internally and can support 256 integrated circuits (ICs) in each circuit.

Jose Rios, CEO of Intel’s blockchain systems, said:

In the future, the blockchain chip will play an important role in helping bitcoin mining companies use it more sustainably and increase their hash scalability.

According to Intel, Argo Blockchain, Block, Hive Blockchain Technologies and GRIID Infrastructure have pre-purchased the new Intel device.

Intel recently entered the industry with the release of its first generation of mining chips, called Bonanza Mine.
