Zuckerberg: NFT will soon be added to Instagram

Mark Zuckerberg, a former CEO of Meta or Facebook, said the development team is working to bring NFT to Instagram in the near future. He said he hopes Instagram users will be able to create their own unique tokens in the next few months.

According to Kevin Desk, Mark Zuckerberg said Tuesday at the South by Southwest festival in Austin, Texas:

Zuckerberg added:

We are trying to introduce NFT in the Instagram space in the near future. However, I still cannot say when this will happen.

Zuckerberg said he “hopes” Instagram users will be able to create their own unique tokens in the coming months.

In January, the Financial Times reported, citing informed sources, that Meta was working on plans for Facebook and Instagram users to show NFT on their accounts.

It is worth mentioning that Meta has not yet responded to the request of the festival participants for more information about the NFT section on Instagram.

In October, Facebook changed its name to Meta to reflect its focus on Metavari and virtual reality. The company said earlier in a meeting that Metawars also supports NFT.

Zuckerberg’s post: NFT, which will be added to Instagram, soon appeared for the first time on Arzdigital.
